Every decision taken during Solo Ride works out to be the Best one.

Route which was not followed, but later traced out from Google Timeline.😁

Day1:Riding thru Bhor Varandhaghat was one of the best ride till date through Ghat,..with vast endless backwater bodies, voluptuous hilly ranges , Mesmerising Devaghar dam and Ghats with numerous twists and turns.

Bhor Village

Local Dam

Deoghar Backwater

Varandhaghat

Decided to take an off route towards the base of backwater, which was 2 km away from the main route. The view was breathtaking, and wouldn't mind to spent an hour chilling At the edges of bank.

Heading further towards Mahad , Dapoli and decided to halt day at Murud Dapoli beach .
No words to explain the beauty of Konkan route..with ups and down Ghats..

Due to year end and long weekend all the stays were full...and  I felt happy for that as I could have an excuse for myself for camping on the beach.

Camping at Dapoli Beach

Away from the crowded, could able to spot a beautiful serene location on the beach, where I camped my site.
The beautiful sunset view and cool breeze was  a relief moment for me.

Evening View at camping site

The night view of moon setting just above the shores was awesome, with its moonlight reflections on the waves.

Captivating night view of Moon above shore

Around 1.30 am some thing struck my tent, when open the curtain...it was the waves that reached upto my camp. Luckily this waterproof tent avoided my stuffs and me from getting drenched😬.

Moved my camp further 30mtrs away from the shore..hoping the waves doesn't advanced further as moon was almost setting.

The night view after the moonset was captivating. Sound of waves, tinkling stars over my head, cool soothing breeze, scary night.. approaching owls(yes a couple of them)...shivji ka prasaad,  and some damn photography....an unforgettable night of 2017.

Some night photography
The morning view at the Dapoli Shore was an added flavour.

Morning view

Next day with some locals rides and trying variety of Malvan fishes, visit to Herne fort, packed and headed towards Ratnagiri via Dhabol jetty, which was 20 km away from Dapoli.

Transfer thru Ferry

From Dhabol, as happens every time, decided to go via some village route and again it was an awesome decision. Witnessed couple of hidden backwaters streams(check photo).

Scenic view enroute

My silencer of bike again came off, and had to ride upto tarkarli w/0 it. Damn the thumping sound was too irritating.

Heading via konkan route towards further and Reached Tarkarli by 8.30 pm.
Couldn't able to find  any stay..had to adjust in somebody's Varamdha . The owner of the home provided me a mat, blanker and a pillow..free of cost.😊

Next morning headed to Tarkarli beach and sindudurg fort. The beach water was so crystal clear as could able to see corals and faunas.
Tarkarli Beach

The fort was huge and the view of fort and from the fort was speechless.

Luckily could find some one who welded my silencer  clamp and fitted the same else it would have been difficult to complete my rest of the ride w/o Silencer.
Around 2 pm started my ride toward back to pune.
But then again..no usual route. Instead of riding thru regular NH via gagan bada...I looked the SH route towards
gaganbawda...and it was just beauty and beauty..long range steep slopes Ghats, hardly could find any vehicle for the 35km stretch...and beautiful couples of dozens of mountain ranges...

Gaganbawda ghat

Final connected with regular Kolhapur-Pune highway...and ended my trip around 10.30pm at Aundh, Pune.
This Last Trip of 2017 was really an unforgettable Ride...

Final break

Be prepare 2018 for more such journeys...
